Product description — Singular Twin

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Amplid Singular Twin is a versatile freestyle snowboard that builds on the Singular’s design, making it more playful and more natural in switch. Compared to the directional Singular, it sacrifices a bit of freeride performance to gain more freedom on jumps, butters, rails, and in the park.

What is the Amplid Singular Twin snowboard designed for?

The Singular Twin is built to ride the entire mountain with a strong focus on freestyle, from kickers to features to side hits. Its 100% twintip shape is perfectly symmetrical, so the board performs the same way in both regular and switch. Its hybrid Cruise Camber combines grip and pop underfoot with rocker at the tips to maintain forgiveness.

Who is the Amplid Singular Twin snowboard designed for?

This board is designed for intermediate to advanced riders who want an all-mountain board with a strong freestyle focus.

  • For riding switch frequently
  • For switching between the park, the groomed runs, and side hits
  • For a rider who prefers playfulness over a highly directional ride

A top choice if your day includes a mix of features, jumps, groomed runs, and natural freestyle.

Avoid this board if your top priority is deep powder or big freeride turns.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Amplid Singular Twin Snowboard

Does the Singular Twin ride naturally in switch?

Yes. Its 100% twintip shape maintains the same reference points in both directions, making landings, spins, and switch combinations easier.

Does the Singular Twin absorb vibrations well?

Yes. Its construction incorporates damping designed to reduce vibrations when snow conditions deteriorate or speed increases.

Does the Singular Twin maintain responsiveness on kickers?

Yes. Pop Carbon provides rebound to support takeoffs without making the board unnecessarily stiff for freestyle.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
