Product description — Souly Grail

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Amplid Souly Grail is a directional carving snowboard that excels at carving on the groomed slopes without sacrificing performance on powder days. More specialized for carving than the Singular, it maintains a smooth, surf-like feel thanks to its 3D nose and swallowtail.

What is the Amplid Souly Grail snowboard designed for?

The Souly Grail is primarily designed for carving, offering excellent edge grip and plenty of stability when you load the edges. Its directional shape enhances precision in the main riding direction and also helps the board float when the snow gets deep. Its hybrid camber combines camber underfoot with rocker at the tips to maintain grip on hardpack without making turn entries too stiff.

Who is the Amplid Souly Grail snowboard designed for?

This board is designed for intermediate to expert riders who want to work on their turns, carve deep, and maintain the ability to ride in powder.

  • For aggressive carving on the groomed runs
  • For maintaining a smooth ride in deep snow
  • For riders who prioritize precision over jibbing

A top choice if clean turns matter more than rails and butters.

Avoid this if you’re looking for a flexible twin-tip to spend your days in the park.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
