The Arbor Formula is a versatile all-mountain freestyle board designed for having fun both in the terrain park and on groomers, while also offering enough capability to hit natural kickers in the backcountry. The Californian brand has crafted a solid, efficient snowboard that strikes a great balance between control and forgiveness.

What is the Arbor Formula snowboard made for?

The Formula features a traditional camber profile, delivering strong edge hold on groomers and plenty of pop for high jumps, as well as cushioning for landings. Its directional twin shape, with slightly set-back inserts, enhances manoeuvrability on hardpack and in powder, while still allowing you to approach jumps in switch.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
