Description

The Bataleon staff and Tor Lundstrom, pro snowboarder of the Bataleon team, have joined forces to develop this new version of the Goliath, with a graphic design in line with the colours of the Beyond Medals snowboarding crew, of which Tor Lundstrom is a member with Kevin Backstrom and some friends. It's exactly the same board as the Goliath, but with a revisited design, both sober and provocative! A very core version for true snowboarders!

What is the programme of the Bataleon Beyond Medals Goliath snowboard?

Equipped with a twin directional shape, this Bataleon snowboard combines freestyle, all-mountain and performance. Perfectly symmetrical between nose and tail, it offers you all the necessary balance for switching and tricks. The binding inserts are slightly set back, providing more control in curves and lift in turns. This shape, combined with the light and powerful construction that combines wood, fibreglass and carbon, gives you a big ollie pop, boost in turns, stability at high speed, while maintaining enough comfort in the supports and flex in the spatula. A jewel of balance and versatility to enjoy and vary the terrains.

Who is the Bataleon Beyond Medals Goliath snowboard for?

We recommend this model to intermediate snowboarders who are a bit athletic and to experienced snowboarders who like to freestyle and ride hard throughout the resort.

What are the main qualities of the Bataleon Beyond Medals Goliath snowboard?

Stable

Versatile

Super compromise between power and playability

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
