The Bataleon Cruiser is a directional snowboard designed to maximise manoeuvrability and versatility. Its shape is particularly pleasant, with a slightly tapered tail and a setback stance that make initiating turns easier and more fluid.

What is the Bataleon Cruiser snowboard made for?

The Cruiser features a Pop Core wood core that offers a medium flex, soft enough for easy handling, while still retaining pop and response when needed. The traditional camber ensures excellent grip on hard snow, and the 3BT (Triple Base Technology) tips increase forgiveness and improve float on soft snow or powder. The setback stance enhances backcountry performance and helps with float. Its directional shape boosts the board's manoeuvrability, making it extremely smooth and agile. It will effortlessly transition from a black run to a run among the trees. A truly enjoyable board to ride in all conditions.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
