The Bataleon Fun.Kink is a directional twin snowboard, symmetrical from nose to tail but with a slightly setback foot stance for better manoeuvrability and versatility. It features a lightweight wood core, reinforced by fiberglass, a traditional camber and dynamic construction. 

What is the programme of the Bataleon Fun.Kink snowboard? 

The Fun.Kink is a very versatile board, capable of riding on any snow type with lots of ease thanks to its medium flex and intermediate traditional camber. It offers excellent grip hard now, allowing to ride at a good pace and remains stable at high-speed. The directional twin shape provides back foot control and improves the lift on powder, while the symmetry from nose to tail enables to try doing some freestyle. To sum it up, it’s hard to find something the Fun.Kink can’t do. If we had to define versatility, this board would be a great example.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
