Description

The Minishred is a snowboard designed by Bataleon especially for kids. Featuring a forgiving flex and classic camber profile, it proves easy to pick up and reassuring for young riders learning.

What's in it for the Bataleon Minishred snowboard?

The Minishred is perfect for gaining confidence and progressing confidently. Thanks to its soft flex, it's easy to control without requiring excessive effort. Spatulas incorporating 3BT (Triple Base Technology) minimize the risk of edge errors, making the glide smoother and more forgiving. The classic camber ensures good grip on hard snow and reliable stability. Its symmetrical twin-tip shape lets kids explore the switch and attempt their first tricks in the snowpark. It's a very accessible board, designed so that young snowboarders can develop at their own pace while having fun.

Who is the Bataleon Minishred snowboard for?

This model is aimed at young beginners or intermediates who want to make their first turns in style. If your child dreams of riding like the big boys, the Minishred is the perfect board to accompany him in his progression, with a reliable construction adapted to his morphology.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
