What is the Bataleon Push Up snowboard designed for?

The Push Up is a versatile, freeride-oriented board tailored for all-mountain riding: groomed runs, the edges of the slopes, and occasional off-piste excursions. Its directional twin shape features a generally symmetrical profile with a slight setback: you’ll enjoy smooth switching while maintaining natural handling in the forward direction. The classic camber provides pop, good grip, and precision that rewards aggressive riding.

3BT (Triple Base Technology) with SideKick is the name Bataleon gives to the board’s three-dimensional shape: the tips are slightly raised and convex, which takes pressure off the edges on uneven terrain and makes it easier to initiate turns.

How does the Carbon Stringers and Bi-Ax Laminate construction affect the board’s performance?

Carbon Stringers are carbon fiber reinforcements integrated lengthwise: they add responsiveness and pop without adding weight to the board. The Bi-Ax Laminate, a 45-degree weave, complements this construction by making the board precise and responsive in turns.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
