Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The snowboard Bataleon Spirit is a twin directional model, symmetrical from nose to tail, with a slight setback at the inserts. It's one of the brand's most versatile and easy-to-grip designs.

What's in it for the Bataleon Spirit snowboard?

The Spirit features a lightweight wood core, reinforced with biax glass fibers, for soft-to-moderate flex and excellent riding comfort. Not very tiring to ride, it's equally enjoyable on piste and in light powder. Its classic underfoot camber offers good edge hold on groomed snow, while Triple Base Technology (3BT) softens transitions and limits edge errors, making the glide more forgiving. The recoil of the inserts facilitates turning and improves lift in fresh snow, making this board intuitive and fluid.

Who is the Bataleon Spirit snowboard for?

The Spirit is aimed at intermediate to advanced snowboarders who want an evolving board that's both docile and versatile, so they can progress on all the resort's terrain with serenity and pleasure.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
