Description

The Bataleon Stallion is a directional twin available in large sizes, suitable for taller snowboarders and/or those with large feet. It features a lightweight, high-performance construction with a Super Ultra-Light wood shell, reinforced with triaxial fiberglass, as well as spars and other carbon reinforcements along the edges. It offers a firm flex and a secure edge grip, which will allow you to link turns with power, especially in the carving mode on the piste thanks to the grip of the classic camber. It is a stable board at high speed with an excellent recovery, which offers a pleasant ride thanks to the slightly set back position of the feet and the tolerance provided by the concave tips (3BT and Sidekick technologies). It also works well off-piste, where lift is seamless and the manoeuvrability remains as good as ever. Finally, it is also perfectly adapted for switch and freestyle in the snowpark, but the board is more suited for sending on big kickers than for playing with small technical tricks.

What are the main qualities of the Bataleon Stallion snowboard?

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
