Description

The versatility of the Burton Territory Manager snowboard will surprise you. Do not try to categorise it, it can ride any type of snow or terrain, and even venture in the terrain park. It benefits from a slightly directional shape, with a light taper toward the back and features a directional camber with rocker at the nose, allowing to benefit from better lift in powder and more control in the turns. However, it remains rather balanced to ride switch and do some freestyle, all the more as the flex is symmetrical and the inserts are centred. Burton calls this unusual shape the Tapered Twin, it works perfectly to be able to do as much freestyle as freeride! Regarding the construction, the Super Fly II 700G core reinforced by 45° Caron Highlights fibres offers a powerful flex to ride fast and hard, while retaining a hint of flexibility for comfort and playfulness. As you understand, with the Territory Manager you will be able to express yourself in the entire resort, with no limit. Perfect for a very well-rounded advanced/expert snowboarder.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
