Description détaillée du produit — Good Company Alien

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Burton Good Company Alien is a freestyle snowboard designed for 100% park riding, tailored for riders who spend most of their time on kickers and rails. It’s aimed at those who want a dynamic and reliable board to help them progress in the park.

What is the Burton Good Company Alien snowboard all about?

It’s a board built for the park: kickers, rails, and boxes. Its Twin shape is perfectly symmetrical, offering identical handling whether riding switch or in the regular stance. The classic camber—known at Burton as Purepop Camber, which is arched in the center—delivers pop, grip, and precision on takeoffs and landings. The soft-to-medium flex makes it forgiving on landings while maintaining responsiveness on kickers.

Who is the Burton Good Company Alien snowboard designed for?

A top choice if you’re looking for a 100% park board. Not recommended if you’re looking for a versatile all-mountain board.

What are the main qualities of the Burton Good Company Alien snowboard?

Pop

Playfulness

Accessibility

Can you ride this board just as well in switch as in regular stance?

Yes, the Twin shape is perfectly symmetrical, and the classic camber maintains its grip and pop in both directions.

Does the Good Company Alien’s base require any special maintenance?

It’s a Burton sintered base, which is faster and more durable than an extruded base, but benefits from regular waxing to maintain its performance.

What does Infinite Ride technology offer on this board?

It’s designed to maintain consistent flex over time, so the board retains its original feel season after season.

What’s the difference between the Good Company Alien and the Pretty Good Company Joker?

They share the same technical foundation (twin shape, classic Purepop camber), but the Alien is designed for 100% park riding with more pop and grip on landings, intended for advanced to expert riders, while the Joker is more accessible for intermediate to advanced riders.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
