Description détaillée du produit — Mystery Process Sound Wave

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

Based on Danny Davis’s signature board, the Burton Mystery Deep Thinker takes that legacy even further thanks to the Mystery treatment, which is synonymous with exceptional performance. A Dragonfly II core, combined with carbon reinforcements, forms the foundation of a truly high-end construction that blends lightness, power, and responsiveness. Riders looking for a versatile snowboard, equally at home on the groomed slopes and in powder, will find exactly what they’re looking for.

What are the features of the Burton Mystery Deep Thinker snowboard?

This board’s camber + rocker profile combines the grip and pop of classic camber underfoot with a rocker tip that offers better float in powder. A wider nose and a tapered tail define its directional shape, supported by Carbon Highlights and Frostbite technologies for solid maneuverability and highly precise turns. The ultra-light Dragonfly II core, combined with the Sintered WFO base at the heart of the Mystery construction , guarantees optimal responsiveness and speed no matter the terrain.

Who is the Burton Mystery Deep Thinker snowboard designed for?

This board is primarily aimed at advanced and expert riders, those who give it their all on every run and are looking for an efficient board, designed for truly versatile freeriding. Stiff and technically advanced, its construction will appeal to snowboarders who have already mastered all techniques and are eager to tackle the entire mountain with power and precision.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
