The Capita The Navigator is the versatile all-mountain freeride board that will make you enjoy every session. With its directional shape and camber + rocker profile, it is ready to tackle all snow conditions. Capita has once again hit the mark with this board that combines manoeuvrability and performance, allowing you to go big on all terrains.

What is the Capita The Navigator snowboard made for?

The Capita The Navigator is a versatile freeride snowboard, performing well both in powder and on groomers. Its directional design promotes float and control, with a wide nose featuring a generous rocker, slightly set-back inserts, and a narrower tail for natural lift and easy turns. The nose is reinforced with cork and carbon, enhancing damping, precision, and responsiveness without adding weight. The traditional camber in the centre ensures good edge hold on hard snow, allowing you to fully enjoy riding.

Who is the Capita The Navigator snowboard aimed at?

The Navigator is aimed at intermediate to advanced snowboarders who are looking for a versatile board for freeride and all-mountain riding. It is ideal for those who want to enjoy powder without sacrificing performance on groomers.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
