The Enigma is a new board in Flow’s lineup and despite its mysterious name the board asks no questions when it comes to shredding pistes and pow. It is a freeride board (which you may have guessed by its fish shape) loaded with all-terrain performance. 

What can the Flow ENIGMA snowboard do?

If you are in a constant seek of adrenalin bursts, if you live for snowboarding and if you’re on the first chair every morning, the Enigma is going to make you happy. This freeride stick offers high-end agility and solid performance on all terrains. From running through the trees to carving long GS-like turns on groomers, the board feels great everywhere. Its directional shape and Pow-Cam profile work together to deliver endless fun on the mountain. The long rockered nose and setback camber make surfing powder a breeze while the underfoot camber delivers grip and precision on the hardpack. Top this all up with a medium flex to make the board not too demanding and you get the ultimate weapon to explore the entire mountain with style.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
