Description

The Flow Era is a tribute to the snowboarding era. It takes everything we know about it and makes it better. If snowboards used to be very specific to a terrain or another, the Era is the opposite. We say it's specific to snowparks and freestyling, but in reality, the Era shreds anything. Featuring a Re-Flex core made of poplar enhancing lightweight, pop and responsiveness, the board is as smooth as it gets. From park to piste with a little powder slash in between, the board rips with an effortless ease. Carbon inserts maximise the energy transfers while bits of fiberglass allow more forgiveness and a looser feel. Featuring the I-Rock camber, there's literally no terrain that the board can't handle.

What our testers say : Playful versatile board suited for a broad range of riders, from beginners to advanced level, who want something they can ride everyday regardless of the conditions. It does have a twin tip shape which makes the board particularly efficient in snowparks or streets. The board is extremely agile and it's clearly a great freestyle gun, but its structure, its shape and construction make it perform very well on groomers too. On powder, don't expect a freeride board but it's far more effective than most freestyle boards. It floats pretty naturally and feels really fun when you start playing with obstacles.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
