Description

The Era is one of Flow’s flagship, it returns year after year and keeps snowboarders hyped every time. It is the definition of versatility, with a touch of freestyle into it.

What can the Flow ERA snowboard do?

The Era is a twin tipped board offering tons of agility to help riders link park features with ease. Practice your air times or lap the jib line, go rip the streets with confidence and have fun anywhere you’re going with the Era. Its medium flex and hybrid camber make it a great performer on all terrains and conditions. The reverse camber between the feet offers added floatation and pivot on deep snow and the sections of camber under the feet deliver the grip needed for added control on the hardpack. The board adjusts to your mood and to the terrains you’re tackling and remains playful no matter what.

Who is the Flow ERA snowboard designed for?

Best suited for medium and advanced riders, the Era is a freestyle-oriented twin deck that delivers performance all over the mountain. Freestyle, freeride, piste, riders who keep changing terrains are going to love it.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
