Description

The Micron is widely inspired from the adult models and delivers similar performance adjusted to young shredders. It boasts the same Tru-Flex core featuring different wood densities in different areas which allows a better suited and more natural flexibility. The EZ-Rock profile offers a good balance between edge control, stability and forgiveness. It makes the board user-friendly and responsive. It's the ideal tool for making it to the next level and start charging harder on the slopes.

Wht our testers say : This is a progression-friendly partner suited for young riders who already know how to steer a snowboard. The board has quite some character which is why we wouldn't recommend it to the very beginners. The medium flex makes the board quite lively and they would prbably struggle a bit. However, intermediate riders should like it, the board will help you ride faster and stronger, you'll appreciate the way the board kicks out of turns and pops off kickers. Great pick for all-mountain riding.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
