Mit dem Stout bringt Flow für sein 2018er-Line-up ein komplett neues Board heraus. Dieses Freeride-All-Mountain-Board begleitet euch durch eure Tage im Skigebiet, egal welche Schnee- und Wetterbedingungen vorherrschen. Das Board ist breit und somit perfekt für Fahrer mit großen Füßen geeignet.

Was hat das Flow STOUT Snowboard drauf?

Nur ein vielseitiges Snowboard, das mit euch ohne zu mucken in jeden Winkel der Berge geht, ist ein gutes Snowboard. Ein Board also, das keinen Schüttelfrost bekommt, nur weil sich das Gelände oder das Tempo ändert. Flow hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, ein solches Board zu entwickeln – und bringt es nun mit dem Stout auf den Markt. Dieses Freeride-/All-Mountain-Snowboard jagt über die Pisten, pflügt dank seines Cambers durch weichen Schnee und schwebt über Powder hinweg, als wäre es jeweils exakt für genau diese Schneebedingungen gebaut worden. In Wahrheit ist es einfach ein Allround-Könner. Sein I-Rock-Profile verzeiht Fehler und macht das Board leicht zu steuern. Es fühlt sich unter den Füßen vertraut an, sodass ihr es intuitiv lenken könnt. Seine Carbon-Konstruktion sorgt für Steifigkeit und dafür, dass ihr Spaß habt, wenn ihr mit dem Board spielt.

Das Stout ist ein Board für mittelstarke bis fortgeschrittene Fahrer, deren Füße etwas zu groß geraten sind. Denn genau für sie hat Flow das Snowboard etwas breiter gebaut. Das Stout ist vielseitig und lässt sich intuitiv fahren, was es ziemlich einfach macht, Vertrauen in das Brett aufzubauen und die eigenen Skills zu verbessern.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
