Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Jones Dream Catcher combines a directional design that is effective on all types of snow, with a well-balanced flex that allows you to set the pace on the slopes while keeping the board easy to handle and energy efficient. It benefits from a top-of-the-range and ecological construction, with a high-density Sintered 8000 sole, an FSC-certified wood core, an eco-plastic top layer, bio-sourced glue and wax, and more.

What is the Jones Dream Catcher snowboard programme?

Thanks to its directional design, with volume and lots of rocker at the front, and a finer, stiffer and slightly lighter rocker tail, the Dream Catcher offers a smooth ride on all types of snow. It throws well in powder, is easy to place in curves and moves easily from edge to edge. The classic camber and Traction Tech 2.0 technology provide great grip and, combined with the glass-fibre reinforced wood core, you have all the stability and boost you need for beautiful carving on the slopes. It's really a board that's fun to ride and allows you to vary the fun and evolve in the whole area, with even the possibility of doing a bit of freestyle on the edges of the piste or in the park.

Who is the Jones Dream Catcher snowboard for?

We recommend this model to intermediate/confirmed snowboarders who like to ride on all types of terrain and are looking for an evolutionary board offering a good compromise between performance and riding comfort.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
