With the Mountain Twin, Jones offer a versatile freestyle snowboard ensuring playfulness and dynamism. A nimble board, comfortable on any terrain and that benefits from a quality construction based on sustainable materials.  

What is the program of the Jones Mountain Twin snowboard?  

The Mountain Twin features a directional twin shape, the shape and flex are symmetrical and the inserts are located slightly toward the back. This type of snowboard offers the best of both worlds between freeride and freestyle. The board is comfortable switch to offer maximum trick options, but retains good floatability in powder and an enjoyable behaviour in turns. You have pop for ollies and rebound from one turn to the next, the tips are playful for tricks. To make it short, a board that works everywhere, on any type of snow to have a blast in the entire resort and not limit yourself to one style of riding.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
