If you don't want to choose between freeride, freestyle, and piste riding, the K2 Antidote is made for you. This versatile snowboard is designed to excel in freeride while offering impressive performance in freestyle and on groomers.

What is the K2 Antidote snowboard made for?

With the K2 Antidote, you can ride on all terrains and have fun throughout the resort. Its A1 Core, made of aspen, bamboo, and paulownia, provides response, durability, and lightness, offering quick edge transitions. Its stiff flex and Carbon Darkweb technology, which integrates carbon fibres, facilitate energy transfer and increase stability, allowing for smooth turns. Although designed for freeride, its directional twin shape also allows to send some tricks in the terrain park. The ICG 20 Carbon Glass technology adds pop and liveliness to the board. In terms of glide, the Wax Infused Sintered 4001 base retains wax longer for a smooth ride, while the 3D Contour Base on the nose deflects soft snow, ensuring optimal grip and turn initiation.

Who is the K2 Antidote snowboard aimed at?

The K2 Antidote is ideal for advanced to expert snowboarders looking for a versatile board capable of performing in freeride with smooth turns and speed, while also allowing for freestyle fun in the park.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
