Description

With its directional shape, its generous front spatula rocker, its classic camber and its carbon reinforcements, the Broadcast reveals great cornering skills on all types of snow. Tonic without being too demanding, it offers great sensations and allows you to have fun all day long.

What is the program of the K2 Broadcast snowboard?

With a slightly tapered shape, a well-marked rocker on the front and a slightly lighter one on the back, as well as a reclined foot position on the back, the Broadcast is designed to link turns, build up speed and perform on all types of snow. It is easy to pilot with sufficient technical knowledge, offering a lot of dynamism in the transitions from edge to edge thanks to the rebound of the BAP Core wood, while maintaining comfort and fluidity thanks to the rockers. The carbon strips provide more stability in turns and at high speed, without making the board too rigid. Off-piste, there's plenty of lift to enjoy when the snow is fresh. Finally, we also appreciate the glide provided by the Sintered 4 000 base, more qualitative than in entry-level snowboards.

Who is the K2 Broadcast snowboard designed for?

We recommend this model to snowboarders looking to vary the terrain throughout the resort and set the rhythm on the slopes, while maintaining playability. It is accessible for an intermediate level snowboarder who is physically fit with a good size, this model will be perfect for a confirmed or even very confirmed snowboarder.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
