Description

The K2 Dreamsicle is a directional twin snowboard, which means it is symmetrical between the front and the back making it suitable for freestyle, but with a slightly back foot position that makes it easier to ride. The flex is responsive yet easy to handle, while the flat camber + rocker profile offers versatility and a good compromise between edge control and forgiveness.

What is the program of the K2 Dreamsicle snowboard?

With the K2 Dreamsicle, all options are possible in the resort. Its accessible flex and flat camber make it accessible enough to learn the first turns on the slopes. Then, its versatility will allow you to ride it everywhere. The flat camber, rockers and back foot position offer manoeuvrability on the slopes as well as on the edges. The grip is secure on groomed snow, while still giving you the tolerance to avoid making too many edge mistakes. The glass and carbon fibre reinforced wood construction offers responsiveness, while maintaining flex and lightness. You can link turns and runs without burning out. You can also go to the snowpark and try your hand at freestyle, it offers the perfect flex for the rails and modules.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
