Description

The K2 Party Platter is a versatile all-mountain freeride snowboard designed for intermediate to advanced level riders. It features a directional shape, Combination Camber Baseline, and is constructed with BAP Core, Biax Fibre, Ollie-Bar, and Volume Shift™ technologies.

What is the K2 Party Platter snowboard made for?

The Party Platter is a versatile all-mountain freeride snowboard that excels in both freeride and freestyle. Its directional shape, slightly narrower tail than nose, and pronounced front rocker enhance its manoeuvrability and float in powder. The traditional camber, balanced flex, and centred foot stance make it ideal for satisfying your freestyle cravings on the slopes and in the terrain park. It offers good grip, ensures excellent rebound between turns, and benefits from a lively pop, thanks to the Ollie Bar reinforcement technology. This makes it a perfect model for all-mountain use, turning the mountain into your playground, whether you want to trace beautiful turns in powder, perform stylish grabs in the park, or use a natural kicker to send your most spectacular rotations! It's a very versatile board for you to thrive in all-mountain, do a bit of freestyle, and make the most of good conditions when they present themselves.

Who is the K2 Party Platter snowboard aimed at?

The Party Platter is recommended for intermediate to advanced level snowboarders. Thanks to its versatility, it will suit riders who enjoy carving turns on groomers as well as those who prefer to venture in the backcountry.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
