Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Lib Tech Rasman is a dynamic, responsive, and adaptable board, not intended for all riders. It offers excellent grip on groomers and demonstrates playfulness in the backcountry, while also being capable of adapting to the terrain park, although this is not its preferred environment. Quite stiff and powerful, it is perfect for having fun on various types of terrain.

What is the Lib Tech Rasman snowboard made for?

It is primarily designed for freeride but remains extremely versatile. Its hybrid Banana camber combines sections of traditional and reverse camber for smooth rides and good grip on hard or transformed snow. This configuration also enhances float, already favoured by the directional shape, while the aspen and paulownia core, combined with bi-axial fibreglass, gives the board dynamism and response out of turns. The Rasman, with its rather stiff flex, is meant for riders with solid skills and impeccable physical condition to master its power, while providing from remarkable control and stability.

Who is the Lib Tech Rasman snowboard aimed at?

The Rasman is demanding and can be exhausting for novices. It is recommended for advanced to expert snowboarders, who will be able to make the most of this machine's capabilities for maximum fun in the entire ski area.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
