Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Nidecker Angel benefits from a quality construction at a rather moderate price. Technically accessible but ideal for continuous development, it permits you to enjoy your days at the resort.

What is the program of the snowboard Nidecker Angel?

The Angel is a twin directional snowboard, i.e. with a symmetrical shape from nose to tail but with a slightly setback feet position. The intention is to have a board adapted for switch and possibly freestyle, while obtaining a better ride than on a traditional freestyle snowboard. Thanks to the position of the feet one centimeter apart, the Angel is naturally placed in a curve. You can therefore take advantage of the safe grip offered by the classic camber section to link turns on the slopes, but also have fun slashing the little powder on the edges of the slope thanks to the lift provided by the rockers of the spatulas. All in all, a fun providing model!

Who is the Nidecker Angel snowboard for?

This model will delight intermediate snowboarders looking for a versatile board, not too expensive that provides comfort throughout the resort.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
