Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

If the Nidecker brand is mainly known for its all-mountain, freeride or carving boards, its know-how also allows it to offer other models such as the Nidecker Sensor, specifically designed for freestyle and jibbing.

What is the program of the Nidecker Sensor snowboard?

The Sensor has a perfect twin-tip shape, which allows you to ride indifferently in regular or switch mode providing maximum options in freestyle. It offers a well-dosed flex, which allows you to pop ollies while maintaining playability in the spatulas. Its construction is reinforced with carbon and kevlar providing durability and shock absorption for more riding comfort. The camber + rocker profile provides grip in cut turns on the track, as well as a good lift in powder snow. The rocker zones, crossed with a Sidekick technology, eliminate superfluous grip zones and thus provide maximum playability and tolerance for flat tricks. It's a board you can have fun with on the slopes, the edges of the slopes and in the snowpark!

Who is the Nidecker Sensor snowboard for?

Accessible from the intermediate level thanks to its player side, this model is primarily intended for freestyle snowboarders looking for a board with which they can use for tricks throughout the resort and let their creativity speak for itself.

What are the main qualities of the Nidecker Sensor snowboard?

Light and robust construction

Playability

Versatility

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
