Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Nitro Mercy is a freestyle snowboard designed primarily for the terrain park, yet it reveals outstanding versatility across the entire mountain thanks to its hybrid profile, which combines traditional camber with rocker at the tips. Its perfectly symmetrical twin-tip shape allows you to ride switch just as easily as regular, while its soft flex makes it a playful, manoeuvrable, and enjoyable board to ride, no matter the terrain.

What is the Nitro Mercy snowboard made for?

The Nitro Mercy is perfect for those who like to adapt their pace, whether it’s carving on groomers, having fun on side hits, or sending tricks in the terrain park. Its lightweight wood core, reinforced with biaxial fibreglass, provides a soft-medium flex, ensuring ease of use, pop, comfort, and energy. The board is also reinforced along the edges and sidewalls, making it robust and durable, even with frequent use on rails and boxes. The camber + rocker profile delivers solid edge hold on hardpack, makes turn initiation easier, and improves float in fresh snow, making this freestyle twin highly effective for all-mountain riding, well beyond the park.

Who is the Nitro Mercy snowboard aimed at?

The Mercy is ideal for intermediate to advanced female riders seeking a playful, soft, and progressive board, built for freestyle but just as comfortable on groomers and in light powder. It’s perfectly suited to those who want to progress while having fun, with a forgiving model that’s still capable of impressive performance.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
