Description détaillée du produit — Phase

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Nitro Phase is a versatile freeride snowboard, designed to tackle groomed runs in the morning and switch to off-piste as soon as fresh snow falls, with a smooth ride across the entire mountain.

What are the features of the Nitro Phase snowboard?

Its directional shape—with a nose wider than the tail and rear-set inserts—optimizes the board for freeride riding and float in powder. The hybrid camber profile combines classic camber between the feet—which provides grip and pop—with a pronounced rocker at the tip that makes it easier to float in deep snow. It maintains stability at high speeds and delivers solid grip on hard snow. Initiating turns remains easy thanks to the set-back stance.

Who is the Nitro Phase snowboard designed for?

It’s designed for intermediate to advanced riders who are comfortable on all terrain and snow types and make few technical mistakes. It’s a board that supports progression toward a higher skill level without being overly stiff, and it leaves plenty of room for everyday fun.

What are the main qualities of the Nitro Phase snowboard?

Versatility

Stability

Float

Does the Phase float well in powder?

Yes. The directional shape, rear-set inserts, and pronounced tip rocker keep the nose on the surface and facilitate float in deep snow.

How does the Phase perform on groomed runs?

The classic camber between the feet provides grip on hard snow and good acceleration. It remains stable at high speeds without requiring a stiff board.

Is the Phase suitable for freestyle and the park?

That’s not its forte. Its directional design and back-set stance make it best suited for all-mountain and freeride. It can handle a few jumps but is limited in switch and jibbing.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
