The Palmer Pivot is an all-mountain freestyle model that excels in the park while still maintaining strong capabilities for enjoying groomed runs and backcountry terrain.

What is the Palmer Pivot snowboard made for?

The Palmer Pivot features a full twintip shape and a more forgiving flex than its counterparts from the same brand, making it more playful in the park. Its Camber + Rocker profile combines a traditional camber between the feet for grip and pop, with rockers at the nose and tail to add a measure of forgiveness during pivots and enhanced float in powder.

Who is the Palmer Pivot snowboard aimed at?

This board is recommended for intermediate to advanced riders who have mastered various snow and terrain conditions and are looking to elevate their performance while having fun.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
