The Raven Pulse is a snowboard that offers nice performance on every type of snow, with a responsive construction and twin-tip shape to ride switch easily. It features a wood core, reinforced by fiberglass, as well as a high-density base for a good glide quality. 

What is the Raven Pulse snowboard made for? 

The Raven Pulse is a symmetrical snowboard that can be ridden both regular or switch. It benefits from CamRock technology, a traditional camber + double rocker profile that offers confidence inspiring grip on hardpack, good floatability on powder and great playfulness on soft snow and difficult terrain. A board that can ride everywhere, to enjoy any terrain you want. It is dynamic without being too challenging, thanks to its intermediate flex that makes it forgiving and comfortable to ride. Finally, the construction offers a good balance between responsiveness and riding comfort, to ride at a good pace and have fun with enough playfulness for freestyle.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
