Description

With a board like this on your feet you’re meaning business…just letting you know. The Burnout by Ride is the ultimate park board for devoted freestylers who live and breathe for their tricks.

What can the Ride BURNOUT snowboard do?

The Burnout is a board that you can’t get bored of. It can jump, it can grind, it can carve, it can float and it can do anything you want as long as you ask correctly. Freestyling has never felt better than with a Burnout on your feet. Traditional camber and nose and tail rockers combine together to deliver precision, snap and playfulness at the same time. Carbon inlays are strategically placed to deliver an explosive pop and added stability at high speeds, giving the most reckless freestylers what they need to send tricks with style and confidence. The rockers make the board more friendly on softer snow and more predictable on the hardpack. They also increase the amount of fun you get when working on your flatground technique or on your jib skills.

Who is the Ride BURNOUT snowboard designed for?

It is a board for riders with ambitions and skills. Advanced and expert freestylers or freestyle-oriented all-mountain riders will get on well with the Burnout. Precision and liveliness will be your two new best friends.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
