The Ride Compact is a very versatile women’s snowboard that performs nicely on any snow condition. It has a directional shape with a wide nose and compact tail, as well as a well-balanced flex between performance and forgiveness. 

What is the programme of the Ride Compact snowboard? 

The Ride Compact is a snowboard with a directional shape and a profile that includes camber between the feet, a pronounced front rocker and lighter tail rocker. These features make the board handle very well on every terrain. The Compact is easy to ride when turning, it floats naturally on powder and offers excellent grip on hardpack. Its WMNS Performance wood core combines responsiveness, forgiveness and energy efficiency. The Slimewalls sidewalls improve the board’s durability and offer better dampening for optimal riding comfort. 

Who is the Ride Compact snowboard for? 

We recommend the Compact to female snowboarders from the intermediate level. It allows to have fun on groomers and in the backcountry. Advanced riders will appreciate its riding comfort.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
