Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Ride Compact is an ultra-versatile snowboard designed to deliver reliable, consistent performance, whatever the quality of the snow. With its directional shape combining a wide nose and shorter tail, it ensures good flotation in powder while retaining natural maneuverability. Its balanced flex combines dynamism and forgiveness, making it both efficient and fun to ride.

What's in it for the Ride Compact snowboard?

The Ride Compact features a directional shape combined with classic camber underfoot, reinforced by a pronounced rocker in the front tip and a more discreet rocker in the rear. This configuration makes it comfortable on all types of terrain, whether powder, groomed slopes or icy snow. It enters curves easily, grips well on hard snow and offers good lift in soft snow. Its WMNS Performance wood core provides a good balance between responsiveness and ease of grip, limiting fatigue while maintaining good feel. Finally, Slimewalls reinforcements increase its durability and improve vibration absorption, for a smooth, comfortable glide.

Who is the Ride Compact snowboard for?

The Compact is aimed at intermediate to advanced snowboarders, who want to enjoy the mountain in its entirety, both on the slopes and on outings off the beaten track. Experienced riders will appreciate its supple handling, comfortable glide and ability to perform in all conditions.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
