Description

The Superpig has a rather original shape, with very angular spatulas, a directional shape and a well centered foot position. Designed to be ridden 4 to 7 cm shorter than your usual board, this model offers great manoeuvrability and performance on all types of snow, while remaining balanced for freestyle.

What is the program of the Ride Superpig snowboard?

The Superpig is armed to send you out on any terrain. Its Performance Core wood shell is aptly named and is reinforced with a cross carbon band placed at the bindings to increase torsional stiffness. The idea is to offer more grip and stability on the edge, while maintaining flex in the center of the board. The classic camber is well marked and allows for lots of bounce during carving and ollie pop, while the generous rocker in the front spatula is as useful for easy curve entry on hard snow as it is for improving lift in powder. The Superpig is a condensed blend of technology, with tail reinforcements for maximum precision and recovery in hard snow turns, while the Double Impact Plates help absorb vibration during high-speed riding. Finally, the reinforced edges provide added durability to prevent damage to the board during off-piste or snowpark impacts. You've got it, you'll be able to deliver in all conditions.

Who is the Ride Superpig snowboard designed for?

This model is designed for experienced or expert snowboarders looking to ride hard on all terrains and do a little freestyle. Attention, to fully enjoy its abilities, it is advisable to possess a good technical base and also a very good physically inclined body fitness.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
