Description

The Superpig is based on the Warpig shape, but boosted with high end technologies to obtain a very sharp all-mountain snowboard, both powerful and technical. The construction is very impressive: aspen, paulownia and bamboo core reinforced at the bindings, carbon fibre layers and specific reinforcements also in carbon, urethane along the sides for more cushioning and durability, high end sole for minimal friction and maximum glide. 

Beware, its shape is specific, we advise you to choose it 6 to 10 centimetres shorter than your usual snowboard size. 

What is the program of the Ride Superpig snowboard? 

The Ride Superpig is a directional board, but it's still balanced enough for a bit of freestyle, whether in the park or off-piste. It's not a jib board, more of a kicker board. The powerful construction and stiff flex allow for a high intensity descent ride. It's great for carving but also for off-piste runs, its long rocker in the front tip makes it easy to enter curves but also provides a good lift. Don't be afraid to go fast, it has great stability and also offers a lot of cushioning for a smoother ride. A very versatile board for sending throughout the entire field.

We recommend this model to advanced or expert snowboarders who are looking for an aggressive board with which they can ride hard in all-mountain and freestyle. Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
