Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Ride Twinpig snowboard stands out with its unique asymmetrical shape, optimising control and efficiency by compensating for the natural imbalance of frontside turns. This asymmetry of the front and back edges enhances performance without altering the riding feel. Its exceptional manoeuvrability and versatility are accentuated by a shape that allows you to choose a shorter size than your usual board. It is crucial to respect the board's orientation to maximise the efficiency of the front and back edges.

What is the Ride Twinpig snowboard made for?

The Ride Twinpig, with its twin-tip shape and balanced flex, is specifically designed for freestyle. It offers great response and playfulness, ideal for jib features and riding switch. The camber profile combined with rockers and asymmetrical edges allows for smoothness and optimal control when riding groomers. Turns are easily linked thanks to a flex that provides good rebound without being too physically demanding. The rockers also facilitate riding in the side country and fresh snow. In short, this versatile and fun board promises a lot of fun and progression.

Who is the Ride Twinpig snowboard aimed at?

The Twinpig is perfect for intermediate freestylers. It will satisfy those looking for a board offering a multitude of trick possibilities across the entire resort.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
