Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Rome Artifact is a snowboard with a perfectly balanced twin-tip shape. Thanks to its symmetrical design and the central position of the bindings, it can be ridden both regular and switch, offering great freedom of creativity and sensation when executing freestyle tricks.

What's in it for the Rome Artifact snowboard?

The Artifact is a model cut out for park freestyle and Jib. Its supple, playful flex facilitates presses and gives confidence if the landing after a 3-6 is not perfectly straight. A bamboo insert at the heart of the core provides dynamism and torsional stability, while the classic camber makes full use of the bamboo's energy to offer more grip on hard snow and more responsiveness underfoot. Double Kick technology, with spatulas raised at both ends, improves stability during presses.

Who is the Rome Artifact snowboard for?

This model is aimed at intermediate to expert riders wishing to push their technical limits while enjoying a fun experience on all types of modules.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
