Description

This Rome snowboard was designed by the Norwegian snowboarder Ståle Sandbech, a specialist in half-pipe, big air and slopestyle techniques, who took part in his first World Cup at the age of 15. The Rome Stale Crewzer has a poplar and paulownia wood shell, a central carbon reinforcement for more pop and bounce, as well as Impact Plates fibreglass reinforcements for an enhanced cushioning effect.

What is the programme of the Rome Stale Crewzer snowboard?

The Stale Crewzer has a twin directional shape, with as much width at the front as at the rear to provide the necessary presence in the tail for switching and tricks, but the position of the inserts is slightly offset at the rear allowing you to better control your trajectories, enter curves faster and float better in powder snow. The medium flex and classic camber between the inserts give you the grip and responsiveness needed to hit the slopes, but the board is still easy to ride and playful enough to switch to freestyle when you feel like it.

Who is the Rome Stale Crewzer snowboard for?

We recommend this model from the intermediate level upwards, to any snowboarder looking for a versatile and pleasant board for all conditions and terrains, but also to perform freestyle in the park or elsewhere.

What are the main qualities of the Rome Stale Crewzer snowboard?

Reactivity

Good performance/playability compromise

Versatility

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
