Description

A women's snowboard developed by the French freeride world champion Marion Haerty, the Rossignol After Hours offers great manoeuvrability and efficiency on all types of snow.

What is the programme of the Rossignol After Hours snowboard?

The After Hours has a directional shape with a voluminous nose with a well-marked rocker, and a tighter tail with a lighter rocker. This shape and work on the rockers allow for a very good lift in powder snow, with less effort for the rider. The board floats on its own and is easy to handle. On hard sections of snow and on the groomed snow of the slopes, you benefit from an efficient grip thanks to the classic camber, with a board that easily enters curves. Pleasant to ride but stable and responsive, the After Hours allows you to set the pace without pushing you into your confines. Finally, the flex remains symmetrical, allowing you to play with the spatulas and to have a good foothold for some tricks, even if this is not your first objective.

Who is the Rossignol After Hours snowboard intended for?

We recommend this model to experienced or expert snowboarders looking for a freeride type snowboard with which they will be able to ride off-piste even in extreme powder snow, while maintaining comfort and efficiency on the piste.

What are the main qualities of the Rossignol After Hours snowboard?

Versatility

Manoeuvrability

Good compromise between performance and accessibility

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
