Description

The Jibsaw snowboard from Rossignol is a very versatile model that will allow you to do some freestyle in the terrain park as well as trace lines in backcountry powder. Ideal for intermediate to advanced riders, this board can seriously shred. Its full twin-tip shape is perfectly suited to freestyle riding as the symmetry from nose to tail allows to ride both ways. The traditional camber + rocker profile enables to lift in powder and initiate your turns easily. The intermediate flex ensures good stability on all terrains and Serrated Edges 7S technology offers excellent grip on hardpack and ice. For more freestyle responsiveness, Rossignol featured Amp Tek Elite technology to stiffen the tips and provide explosive pop.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
