Description

The XV Sushi LF is one of the many pro-models of Xavie de Le Rue at Rossignol. Its original shape, retro but nonetheless terribly efficient, is really dedicated to deep snow while reconnecting the snowboard to its ocean origins. A snowboard in the shape of a fish enabling you to surf in powder.

What is the programme of the Rossignol XV Sushi LF snowboard?

The XV Shushi LF is voluntarily produced in only two sizes,144 and 145 Wide. Designed to be ridden very short, it provides maximum Manoeuvrability, is very responsive and is able to turn short at the last moment. Its shape is very directional, with lots of volume at the front and a very narrow tail resulting in a fishtail. The inserts are completely set back placing the control and weight on the rear foot. This allows you to benefit from an exceptional lift and maximum control in curves. Its well-balanced flex provides stability while remaining energy efficient, while the classic camber between the inserts provides a good grip when testing it out on the tracks! A snowboard that will complement your everyday board and which you''ll take out for the most beautiful occasions!

Who is the Rossignol XV Sushi LF snowboard designed for?

We recommend this model to snowboarders from intermediate/confirmed to expert level, looking for a fun and playful snowboard with which they can have fun and make the most of the beautiful snowy days.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
