Description

The women's snowboard Roxy Raina features a directional twin shape, meaning that the foot position is set back slightly to improve maneuverability, while benefiting from the switch efficiency of a symmetrical board. The result is a board that's equally at home in a series of turns as it is in tricks on slope-side kickers. What's more, the hybrid camber combining rocker and camber zones works on all types of snow. Grip is precise on piste, all the more so thanks to the Magne-Traction edges, and glide is fluid whatever the conditions on piste edges. Finally, the well-balanced flex brings responsiveness while maintaining playability. A great board for freestyle fun on any terrain.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
