Description

A versatile freestyle snowboard, the Xoxo has long been a fundamental part of the Roxy Snowboard line-up. The Xoxo has evolved by changing its camber from a hybrid camber to a classic camber that gives it more efficiency, responsiveness and precision on hard snow.

What is the Roxy Xoxo snowboard program?

The Xoxo increases performance while maintaining lots of accessibility. With its classic camber, the Xoxo offers more grip on the piste, allowing you to make more powerful cut turns and have more grip even on the hardest snow. In addition, the Magne-Traction edges further reinforce this grip and stability during turns on the slopes. The camber mixed with a wood core that is tonic but retains flex, allows for ollie pop and bounce during turns, while keeping the board easy to ride and playful at the tip. Finally, the Xoxo's perfectly symmetrical shape, with a well centered foot position, offers a maximum of options for freestyle, allowing you to switch back and forth without difficulty. It's an absolute joy to ride, perfect your techniques on the slopes and have fun in the snowpark.

Who is the Roxy Xoxo snowboard for?

We recommend this model to intermediate or advanced snowboarders who mainly ride on the slopes or to freestyle snowboarders looking for a good board to progress in the snowpark.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
