Description

The Salomon Grace is certainly an accessible and forgiving board, but maintains a sturdy and progressive construction that will accompany your daughter in her progress from one season to the next.

What is the Salomon Grace snowboard program?

Whether your daughter is riding a snowboard for the first time or if she already knows how to make a few turns, she will take full advantage of the tolerance and versatility of the Salomon Grace. This board mixes a soft flex with a flat camber providing maneuverability and ease when riding. You will enjoy a secure grip on hard snow, while maintaining a good margin for errors during edge faults. You fall less, you are more confident and you make turns more easily. Progressively, we can start getting on more difficult slopes, discover the edges of the slope and, for the brave, try to ride in switch and try the modules of the snowpark!

Who is the Salomon Grace snowboard for?

This model has been designed for little girls and teenagers who are discovering snowboarding or have already acquired some technical basics but are still in need of a board that is easy to ride enabling fun and progression.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
