Description

The Santa Cruz Reflection Dot benefits from a Power Lyte wood shell reinforced with two layers of triaxial fibreglass. This construction offers a firm flex, a really powerful pop and a good stability at high speed. The camber + rocker profile of the Reflection Dot allows these qualities to be enjoyed on all types of snow.

What is the programme of the Santa Cruz Reflection Dot snowboard?

This Santa Cruz snowboard has a twin-tip shape, perfectly symmetrical from nose to tail enabling you to switch without problems and maintain balanced for tricks. With the powerful construction and the classic camber section in the centre of the board, you enjoy a good grip and stability. The pop is also impressive, and the spatulas maintain a zest of flex for press. Beyond freestyle, it is also a really efficient board, whether you are on piste or in small off-piste areas. You can draw beautiful lines on all types of terrain, you are only limited in cases of big powder snow, where you will have to shift your weight backwards to float better.

Who is the Santa Cruz Reflection Dot snowboard for?

We recommend this model to experienced or expert snowboarders looking to ride fast and strong throughout the resort while maintaining a maximum of freestyle possibilities.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
