Description

The DJ Aguila is the spearhead of the Verdad range. It is the most aggressive board in the catalogue, with a top-of-the-range construction making it both light and powerful. Its V Light Woodcore shell is sandwiched between two layers of triaxial fibreglass, and bamboo stringers combined with carbon and kevlar reinforcements that have been strategically positioned. These reinforcements provide an increased pop, stability, torsional rigidity and cushioning without weighing down the board.

What is the programme of the snowboard Verdad DJ Aguila?

The DJ Aguila combines its powerful construction with a classic camber offering maximum skills on hard snow and a twin-tip shape ideal for freestyle. It is therefore the ideal board for committed practice on the piste or in the snowpark. If you feel comfortable on a twin-tip board, like to pass the switch this is the board for you. You can carve hard on the piste as well as load big kickers etc. Everything is faster and higher with it!

Who is the Verdad DJ Aguila snowboard intended for?

We recommend this model to experienced or expert snowboarders with a good support system, good technique, and a weakness for freestyle boards. Whether you're a piste enthusiast or a freestyle specialist, you'll love it.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
