A special edition of the YES 420, the 420 Uninc JPS has a design by JP Solberg who wanted to highlight the disappearance of the last male southern white rhino in 2018. The species still has two females, but may be considered extinct, with little hope left in the success of a potential artificial insemination of these females. A cause that is clearly of particular concern to JP Solberg. The YES 420 is a great freeride board, with a short and wide shape that makes it very manoeuvrable in small turns and in backcountry mode. It also offers great stability thanks to a fairly stiff flex, excellent grip thanks to its classic 4mm camber, and finally a great lift with its rocker and generous volume.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
