The Yes Emoticon is a women's snowboard typically freestyle/all-moutain. It combines an accessible flex, a camber + double rocker profile and a twin-tip shape. In other words, it's supple enough to be handled easily and not burn your thighs in three turns, it grips well on hard snow but remains fluid on softer snow (spring snow, bottom soup, little powder on the slopes) and you can ride in either direction without difficulty (meaning you can switch!). We're really on a sure bet for intermediate to advanced snowboarders who want a versatile, evolutionary board, with a rather freestyle tendency to be able to go into the snowpark or just pass a few tricks on the slopesides.

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
